Andy Bogard
The other Bogard.
His story shares a large number of lines with Terry, so we'll only be looking at the new ones. In addition, his SNES and Genesis scripts are completely untouched, so they will not be appearing here.
Hishoken
Like Terry's Crack Shoot, input motions for the Hishoken were changed for the North American release. I make no guesses as to why, and they never did it again.
This gets named Flying Punch in the English home ports, which is just a literal translation of the move name. Fair enough.
Shoryudan
And this one was changed to a charge move. It might have been to standardize inputs across all three fighters.
Named Dragon Bullet in the home ports, which, again, is a translation of the move name. Body Spin for Zaneiken and Shotgun Kick for Kuuhadan are the inexplicable ones here.

面白い can mean funny or interesting, so that's what's going on there. I can see arguments for both, but I felt that 'interesting' was more appropriate here.
After round 2

So in Japanese, the verb 'to be useful' and the potential form of 'to use' are the same word. It doesn't make any sense for Andy to just not be able to use his style in the next match, so that's why I went with the idea that it's just not going to do any good against whoever he's fighting next. Official translator went with the other one, which to me implies that Geese is gonna do something. I don't want to call it a straight up mistranslation, but it's one of those tricky things that show up in translating.

This is pretty straight as far as translation goes, but this line always bugged me. How did he know Andy is the other Bogard? Did Geese already know about Terry? But then he doesn't know over on Terry's route...so did Terry get up to round 5 before getting his ass kicked, and Geese's intelligence gathering just didn't bring up that Terry had a brother in the same tournament? That seems important!
Look it's weird, okay.

Like Terry, I'm going to do these as a group.
So the first one is one of those things where it could be a mistranslation, it could be the translator changing a term to something American audiences might actually recognize. I honestly can't tell from here. Either way, no, Andy does not use karate. You probably all knew that by now.
The second is supposed to be establishing Andy's stakes in this, which is good, since without that the whole dadmurder thing isn't established until Geese rants about it. The translation cuts out the part where Andy identifies Geese as having killed his dad, which just makes him look like he can't find the giant tower literally named after Geese Howard.
The third line uses a word that can mean a lot of different things. I picked one and went with it. The general idea is something like "it's all coming together/I've got this", which the English translation gets across. It's less literal than I expect out of FF1, which is a bit surprising. My wild guess is that the translator just couldn't figure out a good way to render it in English...which I couldn't do either, so you know.
Fourth is pretty straight.
