A monk from Kagekouya who is also a tireless demon hunter.

Even before he left the temple, he'd started having a vague feeling of evil beginning to move. He could feel the merest tip of that great evil that he could see wished for humanity's destruction, and so in order to destroy it down to the root, he set off alone for NOA.

He's not a psychiccer, but he has many techniques using ofuda that give him the power to fight with psychiccers on equal footing.

episode 1

A lone boy stood in front of the magician Genma, staring at him with wide eyes. Genma could feel within the boy a power, a power he didn't know if the boy could control.

That power...was just too dangerous. Genma took his stance.

Emilio: A...are you going to hurt me too...?

Genma: I apologize, but...your power is too dangerous!

 

Genma quietly laid Emilio's body on the ground. He closed his eyes and brought his hands together in prayer.

Genma: For the sake of all the people in the world...rest in peace.

episode 2

Wendy: I won't let you stop me here!

Wendy glared at Genma, who was blocking her way.

Even though Genma would've liked to peacefully stand aside, the power Wendy had summoned to resist him was a clear threat. She too had power, and so there was no choice but to fight her.

Genma: Ah, what an energetic young lady. Take it easy on me now.

 

After the fight, Genma once more headed towards NOA.

Genma: The evil that covers the world has not yet been vanquished. ...I've got a long way to go.

episode 3

Once more Genma found someone with a dangerous power: the psychiccer Burn. Genma sensed a massive flame hidden behind Burn, a flame that could cover the entire world in hellfire. It wasn't something he could just walk away from.

Genma took out his talismans, and began to gather his spirit.

Burn: Heh! You're gonna take me on with that fake crap?

Genma gave Burn a sharp look.

Genma: It would be better for you if you didn't underestimate my magic.

 

Burn crouched on the ground, groaning. Genma loomed in front of him and shouted with a voice to split the heavens:

Genma: Foolish child! If that's all you have, then stop acting so damn cocky!

episode 4

Genma was suddenly attacked from behind while he was heading towards NOA, but he quickly dodged the attack. The attacker was Sonia, and Genma could feel from her a hint of an evil he hadn't encountered until now. He had to confirm if this girl was one of the followers of the evil he pursued.

Sonia: In order to build the world of Sir Keith's ideals, you must die here!

Genma: If you rush down the wrong path, you will never regain the correct one!

But Sonia did not listen to Genma's words. Genma reluctantly took his stance to crush evil.

 

When the final blow had been struck, Sonia slowly crumpled to the ground. Genma faced her and lightly pressed his hands together in prayer while murmuring to himself.

Genma: Your ideals are no reason to drag innocent people into this.

episode 5

The wind carried on it the stench of blood. Genma sensed an evil spirit nearby. He followed his senses, and as he did, the smell of blood grew ever stronger. At last he saw the psychiccer Brad standing next to the limp, scattered bodies of many, many people. The sight burned itself into Genma's eyes.

Brad: Heheheh, insects....

Brad's eyes were filled with delight, the sight of which made Genma shake with anger.

Genma: What do you think people are? I won't let you toy with any more precious lives!

 

Brad was laid to rest next to the bodies of the people he had killed. Now, there was no difference between them.

Genma: Repent of your sins in the next world.

episode 6

Another person, this time a man with incredible power, appeared in front of Genma. It was the anti-psychiccer cyborg, Gates.

Gates didn't seem to have any connection to the evil Genma pursued, but his heart was filled with hatred, hatred focused on one particular person. To carry a power suffused with hatred was to hold a double-edged blade. As long as Gates held that hatred inside him, Genma could not afford to simply pass him by.

Gates: You're not a psychiccer, but...I will eliminate anyone who gets in my way.

Genma: Will you still be able to say that after feeling my magic?

 

The white smoke rising in long, looping trails from Gates' body showed how clearly he had lost.

Genma: You can't defeat my magic so easily.

episode 7

Finally, Genma trailed the evil influence back to its origin. There, in the middle of the veil of evil, stood Keith wearing a cold expression. Genma flinched for a moment under those eyes, but then returned the look a glare of his own.

Keith: I cannot allow those who would stand in the way of my ideals to live.

Genma: It looks like you're the source of this evil. I'll end your life here and now!

With a loud cry, Genma went for Keith.

 

Keith crumpled to the floor. For a moment, Genma's face showed relief, but it was short-lived. Fixing his face in a grim expression, he regained his posture and carefully surveyed the surrounding area.

One drop of sweat trickled down Genma's face.

Genma: Hm! I can still feel the evil...but where could it be?!

At that moment, Genma felt the presence of a person behind him.

episode 8

When Genma turned around he saw the psychiccer Wong standing there, doing a golf clap.

Wong: Well done defeating Keith. Thank you for saving me the time and effort.

Genma, looking at the faintly smiling Wong, felt within him an evil far beyond any he had known before.

Genma: Gh! You...you're the source of all this evil!

Genma faced Wong and took his stance.

Wong: It's all unfolding just as I thought it would...heheheh....

Genma: What are you planning?

Genma noticed Wong quietly summoning his power, and in response he began to softly chant the kuji-in*.

Wong: Heh...there's no need to tell you that. After all, you're going to die now.

At that, Wong unleashed a vicious wave of psychic power. At the same time, Genma let loose his vajra**.

The chant of the evil-destroying kuji-in resounded within NOA....

*T\N: The kuji-in is a nine-character charm used to ward off evil in Buddhism. It's what he and Genshin use for Curse Killing/Jubakusatsu.

** T\N: The vajra is another Buddhist thing, though Genma's is specifically the tokko single-bladed pestle you can see in the picture halfway down the Wikipedia page. The dictionary says it's a vajra, and I figure that's at least slightly more famous than a tokko. Anyway, it's the thing that gets thrown during Curse Killing/Jubakusatsu.
